My first born for a house?

You have got to be shitting me! The price of real estate in Virginia, just for rentals, is astronomical! Someone needs to let them know that it's a buyer's market and the bottom fell out of the housing market. They haven't got the message yet.

    Trust me babe, the prices have dropped astronomically from a few years ago. And the prices in the Tidewater area don't begin to compare with the prices here around DC. The median home price in my county is still over $400,000.

    It's near a military base too, so they have a steady rental pool to gouge.
