HOW TO TELL IF YOU NEED TO PRAY AT WORK

· When a co-worker comes in a little too happy singing "good morning" to everyone and you think, "Somebody needs to slap the s#@! out of her"...You need to pray at work.

· When someone comes in and announces, "office meeting in 5 minutes," and you think, "what the f*&% do they want now?"..... You need to pray at work.

· When your computer is mysteriously turned off and you want to say, "which one of you sons of b*&^%$# turned off my computer?"..... You need to pray at work.

· When you and a co-worker are discussing something, and a third person comes in and says, "well at my last office...," and you want to throw a stapler at him...... You need to pray at work.

· When you hear a co-worker call your name and the first thing that crosses your mind is, "what the h*&^ does she want now?" and you try to hide underneath your desk......... You need to pray at work.

· When you are asked to stay late and help do someone else's work and the first thing that pops in your head is, "both of y'all can kiss my a@@!!".... You need to pray at work.

· When you take some vacation time and come back to find a mountain of paperwork sitting on your desk because no one else would do it and you think, "sorry a## M#$^%F%&#s"........ You need to pray at work.

· If you have ever thought about poisoning, choking, punching, slapping or flattening someone's tires that you work with...... You need to pray at work.

· If you avoid saying more than hello or how are you doing to someone because you know it's going to lead to their life story ......You need to pray at work.

· If you know all the words that have been bleeped out....You need to pray at work!

Holy F*(&*ING SHIT!!!

A car bomb has been diffused in downtown LONDON!! That was one brave frikin' cop, let me tell ya!

Sky News is reporting there are "similarities to car bombs used by insurgents in Iraq" according to Whitehall sources.

There is another vehicle being inspected by remote robot. Picadilly Circus' tube station has been shut down, as well as Park Lane. This is no minor scare, this is a serious attempt to terrify London and the British.

Good on the emergency services in the capitol. You've so far outshone yourselves, and you've kept London safe for another day.

For the record, it takes a lot to scare the British. They fought off the Zulu, the whipped the Kaiser's ass, they didn't give up in the darkest days of the Blitz. The IRA didn't phase them, and they're nothing more than cowards. I predict this will not cause them to cower in fear - they are strong, resilient people who are bred from sterner stuff. Who ever did this (and I have strong suspicions), know you will not succeed in terrorizing them, they're stronger than any bomb you may make.

The Goddess Britania was looking out for that little isle over the waves today. And a great public servant put their life at risk to save others. I'm proud to have them as our allies and our extended cousins. Take care dear London, and make sure to thank those that keep you safe!

Woo Buddy

Do I feel lazy! I've been cleaning the house for the last 3 days - Martha Stewart is getting channeled or I'm turning into a stepford wife (scary, I know).

In the past 3 days I've:

Steamed the carpet in the living room

Scrubbed out the heathen's pool

Vaccumed god-untold times

Scrubbed the stove

Cleaned the microwave

Washed dishes by hand (for 3 days RUNNING)

NO LAUNDRY - my dryer isn't working and the repairmen won't be out until tomorrow so I have no where to dry clothes so why wash 'em?

I was feeling all good and "superwifey" and then Butterfly Wife just put me totally to shame. You see, she sends cards to Soldiers' Angels Germany for distribution to wounded troops. She's now in the 150 card range, and boy does that make me feel lazy!

So, over the summer, and continuing, the heathens and I will write and send cards and pictures to Landstuhl. It'll give them a creative outlet, and hopefully teach them some respect and admiration for those who wear the uniform (like they aren't surrounded by it on a daily basis). I'd also like to challenge my readers to send 1 card, 1 letter, 1 child's drawing to Soldier's Angels Germany, or ANY Soldiers' Angels chapter, before Independence Day. And those of us with MPF abilities, I challenge you to an envelope full of as many as you can stuff in it!

Now, go hit up Hallmark, your stationary drawer or store, or you craft cabinet and GET WRITING!!

Hatshepsut

The fat one with the pendulus breasts .... So Hahi Zawass called her, before she was identified. She was identified with a tooth, by the way, found in a cache of royal mummies a little distance away from her secondary tomb. The tooth was engraved with her name, and they measured each of the possible mummies for missing teeth, and found the jaw that fit the tooth - hence they found Pharoah Hatshepsut. Interesting use of forensic odentology.

Archaeological News

Yes, I spell that word with a British spelling. Oh well.

Well, a 3000 year-old Ondol heating system has been found in the frozen lands of Alaska. Hubby swears the modern version works really well (never been to ROK, can't speak for myself on this one). I'm quite thrilled to hear they survived this long, and that they've finally be indentified - some were found in '97 and no one had a clue as to what they were at the time.

Kuddos to the Korean peoples for beating the Romans at indoor heating! Maybe the Romans got it via cultural transmitions? It's a fascinating bit of news either way.

In other Roman news, did Boudiccea have not-quite-so-divine help in the leadup to her destruction at the hands of Rome? It seems there may have been a violent earthquake during the period which the Romans were known to be terrified of (the Gods must be angry). I'm sure if it happened that the Celts would have viewed it as divine support for their cause. As much as I love Rome, the crimes they perpetrated on Boudiccea, her daughters and her peoples deserved to be punished. And punish them she did - there's still a massive burn layer in modern London from her destruction of the city during the revolt.

In ancient Egyptian studies news, it appears KV60 may indeed hold many secrets, hidden in the open. Zahi Hawass is scheduled to hold a press conference and announce that they've located Hatshepsut.

She is the woman who became PHAROAH. For the record, women didn't even have a derivitive title of Pharoah. Hatshepsut managed to usurp the throne from her stepson/nephew - after her husband/brother died. And even more fascinating, she managed to pull off being depicted as a MAN for years! The royal sculptors removed her breasts, gave her a war crown and tada - Pharoah Hatshepsut replaced "queen" Hatshepsut. Tuthmosis III, her step-son/nephew, sought to destroy her memory to the point of destroying her statues, recarving her stones with his names and desecrating her temple. To the Egyptians, you only survived if your name was remembered - and Tuthmosis III succeeded in banishing her for a very long time, but even in the un-ending deserts and time of Egypt a Pharoah will return to their position. I hope they really did find her, and I hope the feather of truth balances the scales.

*Yes, the ancient Egyptian dynasties practiced "in breeding" to a disturbing, and disgusting degree. Daughters were married to their fathers or brothers or nephews. But, IF you could marry the WIFE/Daughter/Mother of a Pharoah you were entitled to be Pharoah in your own right. So, hopefully those women weilded their power strongly in a time most had no freedom. Nothing like an uppity woman in a line of men for some amusement in what can be a dry subject.*

Stabiae is to be reborn. While the Romans took the Aquila as their bird, I'm sure they'd get some enjoyment out of Stabiae rising like a Phoenix. Hopefully I'll get to lay eyes on it myself the next trip down to Napoli.

Masada apparently never fell to the Jews, or back to the Romans. It's still being argued and fought over today. Specifically two male skeletons found in a bathhouse with trash, and a head of hair in long braids. Sometimes it's not WHAT's found but just how strongly two different sects can view the same items in vastly different contexts. I'm sure Josephus is getting a good laugh as well, he refused to commit suicide in a Masada like pact and fell into the hands and service of the Romans - and even now his account of what happened at Masada (where he was NOT present) is being fought over. So much for written source records, no??

Now, go read some news about human history and see how very little we've changed in thousands of years, and across continents.

Attack of the Balloons!

Captain James T. Kirk doesn't live in my house, but hubby thought it looked neat.

**Hiss, hiss!** I forgot to use a pink one.

My ode to Roswell.

Palm tree - with 1 "bomb" (supposed to be a coconut but the 6 year-old assures me it's a "bomb"), and 1 pineapple.

Those are just the ones I made today. There were a few from yesterday, and Sunday but my kids really enjoy playing with them and ... *POP* is becoming a common sound around my house.

Why I support

Televised Executions. Raping 2 month-old BABIES ON DEMAND - and streaming the video LIVE to other sick bastards. Cutting off their dicks isn't enough. Split them stem to sternum and let 'em bleed like a cow being slaughtered is still too good for them.

And yet, a "child protection group" started last year in the UK is suggesting NOT criminalising photos of child sexual abuse for some people. To just "warn" them via the police and be checked up on every few days. Yeah, that's a great idea! Let's let people with tens of thousands of child sex crime photos on their computers GO! Scot free! Oh, they'll stop if the cops show up once a week! Really, we can trust them! They don't mean any harm to small children, who can't defend themselves, who will be subjected to brutalization for their own sick sexual reasons. Yeah, great way to 'protect' kids. I wonder if the governing body of this supposed "protection" group includes paedophiles? And I wonder if their lobbying members have paedophilic convictions? Those who seek to protect children don't seek the decriminlization of child sexual abuse and assault, or the photographic evidence of it! Worse yet, the bastard suggests it's a way to keep the paedophile's life and family in tact! Oh, yes, we can't have society KNOWING they're a threat to children. That would be bad for their family - maybe so bad as to keep their kids from being raped by dear ol' daddy ... We can't have his feelings hurt for wanting to sexually abuse a child now! That's bad. Sometimes I wonder about the British education system if it produces people like this ...

I still say - KILL 'EM! In the most horrific, painful, public way as possible. Saves on 'housing' them in jail, or trying to 'rehabilitate' them - child rapists have the highest residivism rates of all crimals ... Thus permanently eliminate their ability to threaten society's young.

Coding Question

Okay, my two coding Goddesses are busy with family stuff so I won't bother either of them. They've got enough on their collective 'plates' at the moment.

I've searched through my coding books, and done searches online but I don't think I'm looking for the right search string. What I want to do is add a "Word of the Day" box to the blog - a Latin word of the day to be exact. As that code doesn't pre-exist anywhere I can find I need to code one myself.

Hence, my coding question. Does ANYONE know of a link to a "fill in the blanks" code box? Or, a step-by-step guide to coding one? I can find loads of crap on tickers, but searching for "word of the day code" gets me what other people have coded, none of which is Latin.

Any links, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Happy Birthday

Magna Carta. 792 years of the rule of law in England, and what would become most of the civilized world. Not bad for a "great paper". We can even directly tie the idea of habeus corpus to Magna Carta. History is a long, winding, but unbroken line ... Right back to being written in Latin, nearly 700 years after the 'fall' of Rome.

It gave rise to our own struggles in our Revolutionary War. To the point we based many parts of our Bill of Rights and our Constitution upon it. If ever there was a supremely important document, it's Magna Carta.

Ovarian Cancer Breakthrough

Well, at least a symptoms listing which has been woefully missing and direly needed for years.

Based on research led by Dr Barbara Goff, a gynecologic oncologist at the University of Washington, who has published several papers in recent years, the symptoms that are much more likely to be experienced by women with ovarian cancer compared to the general population are:

* Bloating.
* Pelvic or abdominal pain.
* Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly.
* Urinary symptoms (urgency or frequency).

Women experiencing these symptoms daily for several weeks should see their doctor, preferably a gynecologist, said the joint announcement.

Maybe we can avoid another needless loss. Maybe we can keep another woman alive, another family out of mourning if we all just pay attention, and make sure those we love (men and women) know what to watch for. I'm just sorry that Gilda Radner isn't around to see the advancements made.

Hat Tip to Her Majesty for the original link.

Robbing Paul to Pay the Virgin?

Well, that's what Rome is having to do as of late. An idiotic 'builder' cut the 2000+ year old Acqua Vergine, then filled it in with CONCRETE! That puppy has been bringing water to Rome since 18BC (BCE if you prefer).

The city will now use the Acqua Paulo to keep the Trevi fountain going. Several smaller fountains are now dry due to the incompetence of the MORON with too much concrete on his trowel instead of in his barrow. I hope ACEA succeeds in putting the bastarde out of business with the fines they'll levy. I also hope they slap the home owner for failing to monitor the work on their propery.

Farewell Mr. Wizard

One of my early scientific memories, other than my grandfather, was Mr. Wizard in "Mr. Wizard's World" on Nickelodeon during the 1980's. Sadly, Don Herbert has passed away.

From a time when Nickelodeon was "ni,ni,ni,ni,ni,nic, nic, nick,Nickelodeon" and it wasn't about tits and ass on 12 year-olds. With Mr. Wizard and Mr. Rogers dead children's television has lost giants of knowledge. Rest In Peace Mr. Wizard, and thank you for making science fun for my generation, and those who remember your even earlier show. I only hope someone can turn today's kids onto learning like you did.

Ever wanted to see

Ancient Rome? Thanks to an international team, you can.

It's titled "Rome Reborn" and is the offspring of intense work by the University of Virginia and UCLA, along with experts from Germany, Britain, and Italy. It's being made into a movie, which will be available to tourists in the Coloseum at Rome.

The project has been in the works for 10 years, and involved the use of lasers, and archaeologists among other diverse items and people.

The offical Rome Reborn site is scheduled to move in the next year to it's own domain. They also plan on updating it regularly with any new discoveries in the "Eternal City".

Flog 'em?

Think that would work for crappy sports performance in today's world? Maybe settle some of those whiney little punks down instead of throwing money, booze, drugs, broads, and cars at 'em?

That's what Hadrian did for atheletes. Tablets tell all: ancient athletes flogged for sins. They got beaten for drinking too much, whoring around and not practicing, as well as bad performance. And they were the best of the best of the best of the ancient world. And they didn't have drugs to take to enhance their performance - they had to actually WORK for that greatness. I'd pay to see bad atheletes flogged ... Along with their managers and the team owners and coaches. THAT'd be entertainment. ;)

Texas soldiers create Alamo replica in Iraq

THIS is what a REAL TEXAN does! Just got this in an e-mail and thought I'd share, though I don't have the link to the actual article, I assume it was published in the SA Express. You can take us out of TEXAS, but you can't take TEXAS out of us. - I'll even forgive him that god-forsaken A&M flag ...

Robert C. McDonald 30.MAY.07
For a small group of Texas soldiers stationed abroad, the days are made a little more bearable by having a little piece of Texas — in Iraq.

La Vernia High School graduate Andy Landgrebe, now a specialist in the U.S. Army, is currently stationed at Camp Anaconda in Balad, Iraq. He, along with 15 other soldiers, decided to reconstruct “the Alamo” on the front of a small portable building that borders the flight line where they work.

Landgrebe and the company of soldiers he works with are charged with the responsibility of transporting soldiers throughout Iraq.

“Since most of C Company is from Texas, they are always trying their best to represent our state and show their pride,” Landgrebe said. “The Alamo was built for fun, as a way to remember home.”

“The Alamo” at Camp Anaconda has since come to mean a great deal to many soldiers fighting overseas, especially those from Texas.

“When the flight crews come back from a mission, they see ‘the Alamo’ as they are landing,” Landgrebe said. “It has some significance, making us all feel safe and [reminding us] home is just around the corner.”

In addition to the level of comfort this simple facelift has provided, it also stands as a symbol of what these soldiers are fighting for. It may not be a symbol everyone in Iraq recognizes, but to C Company and the soldiers from Texas, the message could not be clearer.

“The Alamo is simply an icon of freedom and courage,” Landgrebe said. “[It] stands for and represents the courage of every soldier fighting for that same freedom now.”

Landgrebe is quick to admit that it may hold a little deeper place in the heart of Texans, but that doesn’t bother him.

“The Texas guys like it and really get a kick out of it,” Landgrebe said. “The soldiers from other states don’t really understand why it means so much to us Texas folk. They all think we are a bunch of crazy cowboys who live in a different world. I guess they are right.”

The Texas flag hanging in front of “the Alamo” was given to Landgrebe by his Aunt Cheryl. “Remember the Alamo” is written on it.

There is another flag proudly hanging on the Alamo: the flag of Texas A&M University.

“It was placed there by an Aggie fan,” Landgrebe said. “Since the picture got out, I have had numerous replies, and I have a few Texas Longhorn flags on the way to balance it all out.”

Landgrebe will remain in Iraq for at least four or five more months. He is hopeful that he will return home, for good, by the end of the year. He also wanted to say “thank you” to the residents of Wilson County.

“I surely can see and feel the love that U.S. citizens, especially those I know from home, show all the troops in a special way,” Landgrebe said. “I take comfort that as a soldier, I will never be left behind, or be forgotten for what I do and have done. In this very crazy world today, that feeling and support is priceless.”

“As for what I’d say about Iraq — I thought South Texas was hot,” Landgrebe added. “It was 123 degrees yesterday.”

A Cause

Near and dear to me. I'm glad to see someone thanked him, even if they don't know him or what he did.

EDITORIAL
A random act of thanksa

Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference, even when it's a small token of thanks for something that was much bigger.

A woman named Mae called the Champion office over the weekend, and had a nice story to tell. She and her husband - who she only wanted identified by his initials, B.G.T. - were at the Market Basket at the Mall at Whitney Field last Monday. When they came out of the store, there was a note attached to their windshield. Someone had noticed the ex-POW license plate on the car.

"Thanks for protecting our country. Mitch." That was it for the note.

Mitch didn't know B.G.T., but he knew he was a POW. What Mitch also didn't know was that B.G.T. was a survivor of the Bataan Death March. Along with thousands of other American and Filipino soldiers, B.G.T. was forced to walk over 30 miles after being captured by the Japanese military. The Bataan Death March is considered one of the great atrocities of World War II.

Mitch didn't know any of that, but he took a moment out of his day to thank an unknown neighbor for an unknown sacrifice. Of course, last Monday was Memorial Day, when the entire country was reminded of the sacrifices made by our soldiers in wars current and past.

How long did it take Mitch to fire off that note? Ten, 15 seconds? How long did it take B.G.T. to make that long walk along the Bataan Peninsula? To Mae and B.G.T., it doesn't matter. Just that Mitch noticed was enough.

"Thank you for being who you are," Mae said on her husband's behalf.

In 1942, B.G.T. walked through unspeakable hell. Sixty-five years later he was thanked by a random stranger. It's a small thing, but one that Mae and B.G.T. will never forget. Mitch never forgot, and neither should we. Thanks, B.G.T., and everyone else just like you.

Thanks Mitch for remembering. Thank you Mae, for making sure your husband was remembered, and for making sure Mitch was appreciated as well. THANKS B.G.T. for doing what you did. You were most likely a VERY young man at the time, a Battling Bastard of Bataan. I'm sorry it's taken 65 years - but THANK YOU SIR. Those words are all I have to offer, and they are meagre compared to your sacrifices - your health, your youth, your friends and comrades in arms ... Thank you, they are all I have but they are given with the greatest of respect and appreciation. Thank You!

48-HOUR GAS STRIKE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN TONIGHT 5 JUNE AT 1930

I just got this in my in-box. I assume all military members here in Italy have been informed - but just to be on the safe side:

48-HOUR GAS STRIKE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN TONIGHT 5 JUNE AT 1930

Italian sources report there will be a gas strike across Italy from 1930, Tuesday, 5 June, through 1930, Thursday, 7 June. Provincial authorities may be able to request select gas stations in their provinces remain open; however, those gas stations have not been identified. Gas stations every 100km on the Autostrada are also planning to stay open.

This information can change without notice and military officials recommend Aviano members fill their gas tanks before 1930 tonight and not rely on any gas stations remaining open until Friday morning.

There are about 3 hours until the strike is scheduled to start. GET GAS if you have not already done so!

Update of Sorts

Still not dead yet.

Roman Day is in 2 days and I have some last minute stuff to accomplish. I need to wax the diptychs, I need to make copies of the coloring-in pictures, and I need to finish up the recipe booklet for the kids' goody bags (which they don't know they're getting).

I finally finished the second tunica late last night/early this morning. I need to buy more thread so I can finish preping the bullas for them to make. I got 12 of the 20 needed accomplished before I ran out of thread, so at least I'm well on the way.

I painted 2 pots, which I'll break at school, for our archaeological dig. I need to go to the Commissary and pick up the items for the feast. I'm going to try to get hold of several quarts of rose petals so they can make some rose water (which Romans liked to mix with honey). If that doesn't happen, I'll include the recipe in the booklet at least.

I need to make the oldest write her thank-you notes. It's been 4 days, she needs to get them written so I can get them mailed, and she can get them back to school friends.

I have boxes to mail that still haven't gotten mailed. Including one to my cousin for her wedding, but they just recently moved and I need to get her updated address - hint, hint Padre!

I've been beating my head against the wall with geneaology and managed to get several branches of my family back to the mid 1500s. We need another tour in England so I can go digging for more records - specifically the Kews (which I never managed to get to). Shockingly (not really), most of mine come from the "Home Counties" - including the ones we lived in and hubby was stationed in. BTW, I can get his history hating butt back to the 500s and the Merovignian kings - bastard! And yes, I did the work myself on surviving records (male line only). So the man who hates ROME I can get back to the Empire ... How's them for sour apples??

I haven't created anything new for Sims2 in months. I get burned out on it, then do it in long burts, then take a break again. It's gotten to the point I don't even play the game much, but rather create stuff. Not that I'm complaing, I just noticed my actual play time has greatly dimished and my creation time has sky-rocketed. I still haven't managed to pull off recoloring objects. Pictures I can do, walls, floors, etc. but no hair/clothes/objects which really bites imo. I do Roman stuff and that crap's hard to come by so I need to learn how to recolor the stuff myself.

Hubby and I have gone through NCIS season 3. We're still on the waiting list for season 2 - he bought 3 thinking we had 2. Should have checked his analized listing ... Oh well, I like me some Gibbs and Ducky. We've watched all of season 2 of Monk as well. We just got in CSI, CSI:Miami, and CSI:New York yesterday. We're already on disk 2 of CSI. I believe it's season 6 but, well, I'm not sure and I don't really care. I would like to see a cross-over of CSI meets NCIS - we have bases in Vegas, we should be able to pull that one off.

I forgot to weigh in on Friday. Well, until this morning actually so I'm just going to wait until Friday and get back on schedule. I have been doing my workouts so hopefully I'll see a drop. If not, I'll keep working on it.

That is all for now, I think ...

I ain't dead yet

Yet being the key word there ... We've been busy little beavers here for the last few hours days weeks ...

I haven't died yet but I have taken to sleeping from 2100 to as late as 0300 (whenever hubby woke me up and we went up to bed). Burning the candle at both ends don't come easy sometimes ...

We had a bbq (family) on Memorial Day. Hubby even complimented me on smelling good - mesquite smoke to be exact.

We had the oldest's birthday on Tuesday. Holy hell, she's NINE!! NINE!! Repeat - N I N E ! ! One more year and the shit will have an ID card! That'll cause some white hairs right there ...

We have YOGA on Wednesday, so that's a family 'trip' in itself.

We had a zoo trip on Thursday with the youngest and middle - preschool and kinder went so Mommy and Daddy did too! The oldest, so she wan't totally left out, got to take her lunch with her to school. Believe me, as that's the first time this school year, that was a real "treat" - and ain't that sad ....

Those little monkey butts actually eat Pringles. Not that WE khow this, or that there was a German couple behind us that used the chip eating as the perfect photo op ...

We had the oldest's birthday party today. She's cursed with her birthday always being Memorial Day weekendish so she got it pushed back to the weekend. And it's been cold, rainy and all-around yuck for the last week. I swear, sometimes there's no winning for losing.

Mommy's mad cake skillzzzz - Care to guess the "theme"?

Shego was chocolate, Kim was lemon. Daddy, good hubby and daddy that he is, baked the damn things for me this morning and let me sleep in - even got the heathens up and off to school (and turned off my alarm - smartass). He has his uses. Oh yes, and I love me some Cake Mate cake decorating icings. Those things and a paint brush along with a toothpick and I can make damn near anything.

Daddy's mad game skillzzzzz

Mommy's mad pinata skillzzzz - though I canibalized it from AAFES. Best $10 I ever spent on one of 'em! I forgot to get a pic of it before it got beat to bits, so this is the best you get to see of it ... It was Kim's laser lipstick that Wade made her in one of the movies - "Sitch in Time" I think but well, we got lots of Kim Possible in my house so it could be one of the OTHER movies ...

Now, anyone got some ideas on how to do a "Shera, Princess of Power" one? The middle one has got Mommy and Daddy good and stumped on that theme. Dear god, who thought 20 years ago I'd have kids that dug the same stupid cartoons I did??

Tomorrow - um, later today I guess, I've got the Case Lot at the Commissary. I NEVER miss those things! So I get to see how much $$ I can spend at this one. Oh well ... the list shows some good stuff to be had this time. I'll take photos as usual later.

Next Thursday I've got the middle one's Roman day and my Lares are being mischevious at the moment. They've managed to "aquire" 200 terra cotta 'knuckle bones' I made. Thus, I must make more as they haven't taken me up on my offer to trade for them. Oh well, I'm done making them. Now they need to dry, then I paint them.

I've got the ribbon - finally, to finish up the second tunica. I need to put the wax into the wax tablets but I'm just about totally done with what-all needs doing. I made the battle plan for the activities (it will be an all-day thing), and I drew up the menu for the feast. Most of the goodies the kiddos get to help out with. I may - MAY - even draw up a 'recipe' book of sorts so they can take it home with them. I haven't decided on that one just yet though.

So, when school is finally out in a few days - 10 or so I think, ... I think ... I may just pass out for a few days as a means to "recharge" my batteries. That, or just go totally bonkers (which I'm not far from now). So, you see? I haven't died yet, I'm to busy to die at the moment. Mr. Death will just have to reschedule my appointment for a more convenient time for me. ;)

Now, it's time for bed!
